Reading the label

The numbers on the extinguisher tell you how much fire can be put out. Each number before the A = 1 1/2 gallons of water. So A4 is equivalent to 5 gallons of water. The number before B:C tells you how much square footage it will cover. In this case, 80B:C mean the extinguisher will cover 80 square feet.
